I would like to share my sincere thanks
and gratitude to the late Desmond Dekker, of which I was part of Desmond Dekker and the Aces Trio. Over the years we have had some wonderful times together, working and recording in the studio's, also travelling and working in clubs all over the UK and Europe. We also had the pleasure of appearing in several Top of the Pops Shows, The Golden Shot and many other TV programs. We also did a ten day UK tour along side Gladys Knight and The Pips 'that experience was awsome'..

We worked alongside many other international artists and groups ie Cliff Richards, Jackson Five (at the London Paladium), The Bee Gee's, Lulu and The Tremeloe's, the list goes on and on. To round it all, we took part in 3 films, the most famous being 'Side By Side' starring Terry Thomas and Stephanie De Sykes, the other two films were not made for the UK.

Desmond was an excellent singer and entertainer. Vocally and Stage Performance wise, the 'Trio' were unique and untouchable. Desmond is great loss to the Reggae Industry, he may be gone but will never be fogotten.
